站点地图阅读器隐私政策

站点地图阅读器提供一项功能：按用户勾选，将当前网站的 sitemap XML 整理成语言分组和 URL 目录树。

访问与使用的数据

扩展在匹配 sitemap XML 地址的顶层页面运行内容脚本，读取当前页面地址以判断是否启用，并显示一个未勾选的“整齐显示 URL”控件。用户勾选后，扩展请求当前站点地图文件，并在当前浏览器内解析其中的页面 URL、语言声明与地图元数据，用于显示结构、数量和链接。扩展不会读取其他标签页、浏览历史或网站账号。

扩展不向开发者收集或发送用户数据，不使用分析、广告或追踪服务，不出售数据，也不将地图内容或派生结构提供给第三方。开发者不人工读取用户的地图数据。数据使用仅限于上述阅读功能，不用于广告、信用评估或其他用途。扩展的数据使用符合 Chrome Web Store 用户数据政策及其 Limited Use 要求。

网络请求

默认未勾选时，扩展不额外请求地图。勾选后，仅重新请求当前地图地址；该请求省略登录凭据并拒绝重定向。扩展不会自动访问地图中的页面或读取索引列出的子地图，也不会向开发者服务器发出请求。目标网站仍会收到正常 HTTP 或 HTTPS 请求，并可能按其自身政策记录 IP 地址及请求信息。用户点击 URL 后，浏览器会正常访问目标网站，访问受目标网站政策约束。

存储和保留

地图文本、解析结果和格式化视图仅用于当前页面会话，结果可能缓存在该页面内存中，供再次勾选时复用。取消勾选恢复原文并隐藏整理视图。临时缓存不写入持久存储，也不会跨新的页面加载复用；刷新或销毁页面会结束该实例，内存释放由浏览器管理。浏览器可能为历史导航保留页面实例，扩展不会主动将缓存写入磁盘。扩展不使用持久数据库、浏览器同步存储、localStorage 或 cookie 保存用户数据。

代码与控制

全部执行代码随扩展安装包提供，不下载或执行远端代码。用户可随时取消勾选、禁用或卸载扩展；扩展不会永久修改网站内容，也不要求创建账号。

政策更新

若后续版本的数据行为发生变化，将更新本政策与商店声明。本文对应 1.2.0 的现有行为；Google 和所访问网站各自的数据处理由其独立政策管理。

Sitemap Reader Privacy Policy

Version: 1.2.0. Effective date: October 9, 2026.

Sitemap Reader has one purpose: when the user selects a checkbox, it organizes the current website's sitemap XML into language groups and a URL directory tree.

Data accessed and used

The extension runs a content script in top-level pages whose addresses match sitemap XML files. It reads the current page address to determine whether to activate and displays an unchecked formatting checkbox. Once the user checks it, the extension requests the current sitemap file and processes its page URLs, language declarations, and sitemap metadata locally in the current browser to display the structure, counts, and links. It does not access other tabs, browsing history, or website accounts.

The developer does not collect or receive user data. The extension does not send sitemap contents or derived structures to the developer or third parties, use analytics, advertising, or tracking services, or sell data. The developer does not allow humans to read users' sitemap data. Data is used only for the reading feature described above, never for advertising, credit assessment, or unrelated purposes. The extension's use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Network requests

While the checkbox is unchecked, the extension does not make an additional sitemap request. Once checked, it requests only the current sitemap address, omits login credentials, and rejects redirects. It does not automatically visit listed pages, fetch child sitemaps from an index, or contact a developer server. The target website still receives a normal HTTP or HTTPS request and may record the IP address and request information under its own policy. Clicking a URL causes normal browser navigation to the destination website, subject to that website's policy.

Storage and retention

The sitemap text, parsed results, and formatted view are used only in the current page session. Results may be cached in that page's memory so that checking the box again can reuse them. Unchecking the box restores the original view and hides the formatted view. The temporary cache is not written to persistent storage or reused across a new page load. Refreshing or destroying the page ends that instance; memory release is managed by the browser. The browser may retain page instances for history navigation, and the extension does not actively write its cache to disk. The extension does not store user data in persistent databases, browser sync storage, localStorage, or cookies.

Code and user control

All executable code is included in the extension package. The extension does not download or execute remote code. Users may uncheck the box, disable, or uninstall the extension at any time. It does not permanently modify website content or require an account.

Policy updates

If data handling changes in a later version, this policy and the store disclosures will be updated. This policy describes version 1.2.0. Data handling by Google and websites the user visits is governed by their independent policies.
